In addition to long-standing environmental and political challenges in the country, Haiti has also been greatly effected by the current global economic situation and even more by a series of strong storms and hurricanes in Fall 2008 and the devastating January 12, 2010 earthquake. Our communities are in desperate need of our prayers and support to re-build their businesses, homes and lives.
